Two Peas Featured Layout
I was so happy to see this layout of Cheska as the featured layout at twopeas! This page is special to me because it tells about the character of my 8 month old baby that we are slowly discovering. I just love the cute looks she gave me when I was trying to save my husband's phone from her chubby little hands, and curious little mouth.
And here is a layout about how Nicole shows off her "stars" that she earns at her pre-school. The OA wild card at the left flips up to show another picture.
Both pages are for October Afternoon. The first one features the "Cherry Hill Line", and the 2nd one features the "Ducks In A Row Line".

We have a new guest designer at Inspire Me this month and it is none other than the talented Stacy Cohen! This month was a crazy busy month for me but I just could not pass up participating in the GDT lift this month cause I just love her work. Here is my page inspired by one of her layouts which features intricate crochet work. I can't do that so I just used a ruffled lace instead!:)

A Wall Canvas and a Prima Give-away! (Updated with winner)
It's time again for the Prima Build A Page, and this month's sketch by Annam Stubbington will really allow your creativity to flow. I followed the sketch loosely and created a canvas frame for our room.
Ok, time for another give-away! Just post a comment here and I will randomly pick a winner to receive some beautiful Prima flowers and embellishments. I will however have to limit the participation to Metro Manila residents only. Shipping overseas costs so much specially for bulky packages and I don't have extra funds for that. Hope you understand. Ok, I have updated this post with a winner, and the PRIMA flowers rack goes to... RACHELLE TOLENTINO! Congratulations!

Fund Raising Auction
Hello everyone! You must be all familiar with the wonderful and talented ANAM STUBBINGTON. She is a very talented artist and she moved to Canada a few years ago. Their family encountered some problems with their work permit in Canada and needs help to raise funds so that they can stay in Canada. They have organized a fund raiser and there are a lot of wonderful items up for bid! Please visit her blog to join in the auction and to read about her story. If you can also tell your friends about this, you will be helping her in your own way too. Thanks so much!

OA Road Map RAK Goes to....
SCRAPGURL! Congratulations! My four year old daughter did the random picking again. I'll bring your package to the Scrapfest this Saturday. Please email me how I can get in touch with you.
And here is a layout I made for October Afternoon using Cherry Hill Die-cuts...
I have always been a softie when it comes to my children. My husband and I love to go to Starbucks for coffee and cake. And our daughter Nicole loves to come with us. She always runs to the counter to get a lemon or cherry lollipop. She never finishes it and only manages a few licks before putting it down, but she just likes the idea of picking a treat for herself. I know I have to start saying no to most of her whims and fancies, but I still keep saying “yes” all the time.
And here is a layout for Webster's Pages using the Sweet As Cherry Pie Line... for the August lift challenge of guest designer Toni Kelly. Her work is fabulous!

Road Map
I love October Afternoon's Road Map collection. This was from the previous CHA so this is an old line to most of you. But I just had the chance to use these papers now and I am just loving all the colors and patterns. I made this layout for Creative Therapy's Catalyst # 75 "What’s the hardest decision you ever made?"
I have always been an independent person who valued her identity. This is one of my struggles as a married woman. I have always been comfortable in the place where I grew and felt that it was the best place for my children too. My husband has a business which has been doing fairly well but it requires him to travel for several hours a day to get from our home to his place of business. We had tried to delay moving our family nearer to his business but it was just not working. One of the hardest decisions in my married life was whether to stay at our home town which was safe and comfortable but would take away some precious time from my children and their Dad – or to move to the busy, chaotic, city but allow them to be with their Dad longer during the day. We decided to make the move. We still miss being in our place of comfort, but having more family time makes it worth it.
Please join us at Creative Therapy and get a chance at winning a RAK.
I'm also giving away a RAK. Leave a comment here and I'll enter your name to get a chance to receive a pack of Road Map papers and Tags.

Hello everyone! I have been busy creating projects and pages but I can't post those yet. I'll be teaching an on-line class very soon and I'm also scheduled to go to Brunei to teach for a couple of days there. I'll be posting details soon. I'm also arranging for a few blog give-aways. Watch out for that:) In the meantime, here is a page I made for Prima's booth at the Summer CHA, featuring my little fairy Cheska. I loved the felt gate so much and I only had one piece of that. So I used it as a mask instead for some misting so I can use it over and over again.

Tim Holtz - Guest Designer at Creative Therapy!
I recently joined the design team of Creative Therapy and the 1st catalyst I worked on was "Create and art piece about a recent dream come true for you". Here is my take on the catalyst.
I have recently given up my events management business to be able to take care of my two children. Little did I know that along with the time that I can now spend on my children, I will also be blessed with the opportunity to create pages and projects, and at the same time earn some extra cash along with the pure enjoyment of creating. It has always been my “DREAM JOB” and now I am given the privelege to live that dream.
Ok now that I have posted this, I realized that I just had another dream come true! And that is to have a work of mine appear in the same site as that of Tim Holtz' work! Tim Holtz is an artist I admire so much. If there was only one scrapbook celebrity I could scrap with for one whole day - or even one hour for that matter - I would choose Tim Holtz. Please please take the time to visit the Creative Therapy site and look at the work of Tim Holtz and read about his dream come true. The work of the other design team members are so amazing as well. Please check it out.

Moments Recorded Charity Drive
Hi there everyone. Ems, a friend of mine here at home told us about a little girl who needs help. Charmaine is a 4yr old girl with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer and is at her 4th stage of chemo now. Her condition is very serious as the cancer has spread to her bone marrow and bones. Dorcas is gathering cards to be sold so that the funds generated may be given to the family. Please visit her blog for more details.

Picture A Man of Faith
I am so blessed to have a husband who is a man of faith. He blesses people every day through his generosity and his faith and I really pray that my Children will grow up with the same values and strength of character as their Dad. This is a layout I made for VISUAL CREATIONS using Teressa Collins "Family Matters", Hambly, K and Co "Que Sera Sera", Tim Holtz Grunge Board, Fancy Pants Daily Grind Chipboard, Making Memories Stickers, Maya Road Microfelt Birds, and my favorite stamp by Inkadinkado. All materials available at Visual Creations.
Journaling Reads: Picture a man of faith. Imagine what he can accomplish through God's grace.

Hi! Just sharing a few layouts. Here is one from the latest line of Webster's Pages "Sweet As Cherry Pie". I love the vintage look of this line. I have here a picture of Nicole with her two cousins. Listed below are my 8 top ingredients for having sugar sweet kids on a photo session:)Take a look at the cool trims of Webster's. Those red pom poms are a perfect match for the cherries!
This one is for the Prima July Build A Page. Did lots of stamping here. Hope you can try out the sketch created by Anam for the BAP. Upload your layouts to the Prima Gallery for a chance to win some fabulous prizes! I am so loving the flowers of Prima. But wait till you see what they have for CHA Summer! The flowers are divine!!
And for October Afternoon, here is a layout using some of the older lines. I'm still waiting for my DT box and I am itching to play with the "Ducks In A Row" and "Road Trip" lines.
Finally, here are a couple of layouts created using the February Kit of Studio Calico.
I hope everyone is well! I'll be MIA again for a few days. Have to create projects for CHA. Have a happy scrappy week everyone!

Creative Therapy
I am honored to be a guest at CREATIVE THERAPY this week. This site was created by group of artists who wish to inspire people by using "catalysts".
Here is the page I made using the catalyst...
Did your life turn out how you imagined
I would like to invite you to visit the site and see the work of the talented design team. I think you will be inspired to create using their catalysts.

It's good to be back!! Don't get me wrong, I loved every minute of our vacation at my parent's house - but I sure did miss my computer and my internet connection! I'm sure a lot of you would go crazy over dial-up networking.
Anyway, here are a couple of layouts I forgot to post. The first one is about the "brown tips" of my baby's hair. And the second one is a layout about how my elder daughter seeks assurance of my love. She has been this way since Cheska's birth but is now slowly loving the role of big sister. Both pictures are by Meng Lim.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who sent me warm wishes and greeted me. Thanks also to those who took the time to peek at the new layouts I created for Visual Creations. I'm still vacationing at my mom's and we are on dial-up network. So please forgive me if I have not visited you on your blogs. Will be able to do that by mid-june when we go back to Manila.
Now for the yummy part.... here are the sneaks of Fabric Album class kit...
The class is filled as of now, but there is a waitlist. So for those interested please get in touch with Mitch Sy of Visual Creations.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that I am now designing for Visual Creations. This is one of our local scrapbook stores here in Manila and it is owned and run by Mitch Sy - a wonderful person and an amazing artist as well. It will be my privelege to be in the same team with the 1st Scrappin Mom's idol Cabbie Lopez! I'm so looking forward to this.
In the meantime here are the layouts I designed using My Little Yellow Bicycle Baby Safari Girl Line, together with some gorgeous Hambly, and a little from Teresa Collins' Family Matters.
In my previous post I mentioned about a couple of techniques I have used here which has saved me from spending on scrap supplies. I have been a huge fan of mists but I could not afford to get it in all the colors I wanted (naturally I wanted it all!). So I tried to find an alternative. I bought a set of twinkling H2Os which I use as watercolor. A set has several shades in it. I broke off a piece of the cake and dropped it in a mister filled with a little water. I just had to wait for the cake to melt and it was ready to spray some beautiful sky colored shimmer on my page:)
Another embellishment I am crazy about are fabric, felt, or cloth items. I also wanted to try embroidery but I did not have the talent for it, nor did I have the money to purchase a machine. What I did in this layout was to get some inexpensive embroidery floss. I slowly covered the chipboard with glue as I wound the floss around it. It was easy to do and I loved the hand-made and textured look of the chipboard tree:)

You know how it feels like to be back home? Well that's how I feel now that I have started to design for a local scrapbook store here in Manila. It feels great! I will also be co-teaching a class for the store very soon and it will be featuring products from one of the manufacturers I also design for - wink wink:) Can't say much for now, but details will be up soon. In the mean time, here is a sneak peek of the layouts I made for the store. I have used a couple of techniques here that will help scrappers save money. Will share those techiniques once the DT post is up.
And here are a couple of layouts for Prima's "Seeing Double" feature at the blog. The DT was asked to do double pagers. Please check the blog to see the amazing work of my co-designers.

Up Up Up!
I just realized now that I made two similarly themed layouts from our recent summer outing. The first layout is about my baby girl Cheska's hair going nowhere but up. Her uncle Mark jokingly refers to her as "spiky". People notice her hair because of how thick it is at such a young age (3 months), the brown tips, and because it just goes straight up!
The second one is about my 4 year old daughter Nicole on the swing, asking her Daddy to push her harder and harder so she could go higher! She keeps saying "UP!" and I keep saying "NO!!!".haha. Shows how old I am getting huh.
Both layouts are for October Afternoon. The one of Cheska uses papers from Good Cheer which is actually a Christmas Line. But the papers are so versatile and the colors are so sweet it can even be used for baby pages.
For my scrappy friends here in Manila, the October Afternoon papers are available at Visual Creations. Go get them now!
