Webster's Hello Beautiful Line and Trims. Did this page a few days after giving birth. The whole family went out and I had to stay home with the baby to rest and to nurse the baby. Saved me from an afternoon of self pity! LOL! Thank goodness for scrapbooking!

First of all, I would like to thank you for all the warm wishes you have sent me and my family. I am so blessed to be part of this community and I can't tell you just how much I appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness. I'm taking a short break to post the layouts I made for the January Kit of Badgirls. I made these before I gave birth but of course we had to wait for the reveal day before posting in our blogs.

This is the last kit for me as a Badgirls Designer. One of the most difficult decisions I have made was to stay on or leave the team. Badgirls has been my online home for about two years now and it would be difficult to go. But I had to go because I need more time now for work and for my family. I will miss designing with the kits but I'll still be part of the community there. Only difference is - I'll now be among those eagerly waiting for reveal day:)






This one is special to me. The challenge for this month was to create a project about the one resolution we kept. Mine was to make an extra effort to stay in touch with friends both in real life and with the ones I met over the internet. This ATC card represents the first trade I ever made with my friend Celine Cochrane. She is a wonderful person and a talented artist and I am thankful to have met her through this hobby.

Hello there! First of all, I just want to thank you all for your prayers and your thoughts. I just got home and would like to share this picture of my baby with you. I was lucky that my anesthesiologist happened to be a photographer hobbyist too! So he took around 70 pictures of Cheska right in the delivery room...



I'll just rest and recover for a few days. The wound from the C section still hurts but I'm moving around to speed up recovery. The little one is breast feeding every two hours! Hope everyone had a great new year! Bry and I spent new year's eve with Cheska in the hospital and saw fireworks from the t.v. screen. Nicole visited us early in the afternoon and we sent her home before dark to be sure that she would have a safe travel back home (minus the fireworks in the streets). We had some food sent over from home and it was a wonderful New Year's Eve for us.
